Started by a few of us at AMCC. Now we're 150-something strong, gathering monthly for lectures, dinners, walks, sports, and the kind of conversations that don't really happen anywhere else.
Toledo doesn't have a huge Muslim young professional scene. At least, it didn't for a while. We'd graduate, start jobs, drift apart from MSA friends, and slowly realize that "where do I go to be around other Muslims my age" was a real, awkward question. Evolve started because a handful of us got tired of asking it.
We host one or two things a month at AMCC Toledo and around the city. Sometimes a scholar flies in for a lecture, sometimes it's pickleball at the rec, sometimes it's just coffee and good conversation at a local cafe. The point isn't the format. It's showing up.
If you're 23+, Muslim, in or near Toledo, and looking for your people, you're already part of it. Just come.
